Cream Cheese Brownies

These are the yummiest, gooeyest brownies ever. And here is how to make them.

In a sauce pan, melt together:
2/3 cup shortening
5 T. cocoa

Then add:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk

Mix and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, and add - (use whisk)
1 cup flour
1/2 t. baking powder
1 t. salt

Mix and add-
4 beaten eggs
1 t. vanilla

Stir until blended. Pour in a 9 x 13" pan.
The cream cheese filing is a basic filling that I put in almost everything :) {I think cream cheese should be a food group.}
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Beat well together, then drop spoonfuls onto brownie batter.

Next, marble with knife.


Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
